Just use a notepad…to record what makes you anxious and gets you worried!
This is my number one quick tip to manage anxiety for a reason, it works.
Whether you use a notepad, some phone app or other method, just make sure that you ‘note’ what makes you anxious.
It’s so easy to feel anxious and not to do anything about it. With this technique, you need to change the way you think.
How about a great way to explore the way you’re feeling?
Keep a journal or use a notepad to ‘jot’ down how you’re feeling when panic or anxiety strikes.
Or you can use something like the Breathe Anxiety Workbook!
By recording your feelings, you can start to identify what’s making you feel the way you do.
It can also help you to understand what you were doing before it happened and how you felt afterwards.
What if you haven’t got a notepad with you?
Got a phone? Great! Use your phone to record how you’re feeling.
Record a message, make a note in some note app, whatever. The important thing is to record what you were feeling.
By doing this you can look back on these feelings and take action to stop them in the future.
However you record your feelings, the point here is that you can start to recognise the problem and do something about it.
